Position Summary
We are seeking a proactive, innovative individual to join our dynamic team as a Sales Support & Market Research Intern. In this role, you will work closely with our key account management sales and strategy account sales team to transform market insights into actionable sales activities. Your contributions will directly support key initiatives, enabling senior team members to focus on strategic, customer-facing tasks. Key Responsibilities
- Stakeholder Identification & Lead Generation
- Contact Research: Harness LinkedIn Sales Navigator to identify, export, and integrate new potential contacts into our system.
- Prospect Sourcing: Identify and qualify prospects through in-depth research, cold calling/emailing, networking, and leveraging social media channels.
- Pre-Work & Business Growth Enablement
- Internal Updates: Develop engaging slide decks and presentation materials for company-wide update meetings.
- Customer Meeting Preparation: Conduct thorough pre-research for customer meetings and conferences; profile participants to tailor engagement strategies.
- Data Analysis: Analyze usage data to create comprehensive reports that extend and enhance our Tableau functionality.
- Business Expansion Support: Assist in growing our BioFinder and Services business by mapping key customer personas and gathering essential market information.
- Market Analysis
- Growth Identification: Pinpoint new market opportunities by conducting targeted analyses across industry verticals, geographies, and organizational structures.
- Trend Analysis: Monitor market trends, customer needs, and competitor activities; synthesize insights to inform dynamic sales strategies and keep the team updated on relevant industry news.
- Sales Support
- Efficiency Enablement: Support senior team members by handling research and administrative tasks, ensuring a smooth workflow.
- Presentations & Reporting: Collaborate on creating and delivering sales presentations and collect client insights to refine our marketing strategy.
Position Requirements:
- Preferably enrolled in business chemistry or a related field that provides industry-relevant knowledge.
- Languages: Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English. Proficiency in German or French is preferred.
- Data Analytics: Strong skills in data analysis, with the ability to efficiently conduct stakeholder research and market analysis.
- Problem-Solving: Demonstrable ability to creatively overcome challenges and propose innovative growth ideas.
- A self-starter with a keen eye for detail, adaptability to new challenges, and a proactive approach to contributing fresh ideas.
Remote Option: 100% remote
Working Time: Full-time or part-time (minimum commitment: 3 days per week)
Internship Duration: At least 6 months with the opportunity to renew for 6 months
